Peace and Joy

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our LORD Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the HOLY SPIRIT, whom He has given us.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for the righteous man, possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through Him! For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life! Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our LORD Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Death and Soul

Death is the termination of the biological functions that define a living organism. It refers to both a particular event and to the condition that results thereby. The true nature of the latter has for millennia been a central concern of the world's religious traditions and of philosophical enquiry. Many religions maintain a belief in either some kind of afterlife or rebirth.

The soul, in many religions, spiritual traditions, and philosophies, is the spiritual and eternal part of a living being, commonly held to be separable in existence from the body; as distinct from the physical part. It is typically thought to consist of ones consciousness and personality, and can be synonymous with the spirit, mind or self. The soul is believed to live on after the person’s physical death, and some religions posit that God creates souls. In some cultures, non-human living things, and sometimes other objects (such as rivers) are said to have souls, a belief known as animism.

The terms soul and spirit are often used interchangeably, although the latter may be viewed as a more worldly and less transcendent aspect of a person than the former. The words soul and psyche can also be treated synonymously, although psyche has relatively more physical connotations, whereas soul is connected more closely to metaphysics and religion.

Kingdom of God

But seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

We praised to the Lord and worshiped of His Mighty Name. We singed with dance and tambourine, and also with music instrument.

We listened the sermon of our Pastor. She gave the best message so that our faith will greatly fulfill. Remember to adore and bow down our God because He protect us day by day.

The LORD is my Shepherd

The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters, He restores my soul.

He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
(Psalm 23:1 - 6)

Horizontal Stadia Sights 2

PROBLEM:
A dumpy level with an interval focusing telescope was set up on the left bank of a river and the rod reading tabulated below were taken on a stadia rod held successively at the left and right water edges, if the K is 95.50m and stadia constant is 0.30m. Determine with of the river.

Rod Position Hair Readings
U (a) M (c) L (b)
Rod Held @ LWE 2.189m 2.172m 2.155m
Rod Held @ RWE 2.277m 2.173m 2.069m

Wherein:
S = stadia sight observed @ LWE
S2 = stadia sight observed @ RWE
d = horizontal distance from the level of the rod @ LWE
d2 = horizontal distance from the level of the rod @ RWE
w = width of the river

Formula:
S = (a - b)
S2 = (a2 – b2)
d = Ks + C
d2 = Ks2 + C
w = d + d2

Given:
K = 95.50m
C = 0.30m

Solution:
S = (a - b)
= (2.189 – 2.155)
= 0.034m
S2 = (a2 – b2)
= (2.277 – 2.069)
= 0.208 / 0.21m
d = Ks + C
= 95.5 (0.034) + 0.3
= 3.247 + 0.3
= 3.55m
d2 = Ks2 + C
= 95.5 (0.21) + 0.3
= 95.5 (0.21) + 0.3
= 20.36m
w = d + d2
= 3.55m + 20.36m
= 23.91m
